Gran Penfold's 'arts and crafts' sideboard:

Snapshot taken 12.6.2018. We have had it most of our married life. Lovely thing. Remember it in her home at 90 Surbiton Road, Kingston on Thames. It had a three-sided mirror assembly mounted by pegs in peg-holes in the top surface, which (the holes) are still there, though we have never had the mirror. So we've had it for the better part of 50 years. Perhaps longer than she had it. Dear old lady in her latterr days. Fondly remembered. Born Rosa Wells, one of the younger children of William Wells the chrysanthemum-grower (see elsewhere on this site). And granddad Penfold was Frank Penfold, though we never called him 'Grandad Frank' as he might have been in other families. (12.6.18).
