James Archer’s Grandpont Meadows sale-particulars: (3)

Plus a horse-clipping machine, a 5-foot pig-trough, four sets of hay-holders, two pairs of snatch blocks, a Bamford crusher and bean-mill, a side-delivery rake, a Woods mowing machine,  and a set of link harrows. All part of the ‘Uncle James’ story at Archer Cowley & Co. (19.10.2016). The date and time of the sale (or anyway, of one such sale) was Thursday 1st October 1925 at Grandpont Meadow, one mile from the city-centre of Oxford, at 12.30 pm precisely.
