A long-lens shot from the Tay bridge at Kenmore. No doubt Ben Lawers is still dangerous to not-fully-prepared walkers, even in May. I have never attempted to get much further up it than some respectable distance beyond the Nature Reserve on the south-west side of the peak. Little Fred was with me that day. He was, by then, getting on in years, and had generally slowed-down quite a bit. But that day the wind blew hard, and he liked it, and he went like the wind all the way. It was a wonderful climb.
