Lot No.110: a Horse Rake by Bamford (a name well-known to me from my farm-machinery work with Massey Ferguson at Banner Lane, Coventry in 1970 - 1978): £9.10.0d;

Lot No 121: a four-wheel 4-ton Yorkshire lorry by Belerby (Huddersfield): £12.0.0d; and 

Lots Nos 122 to125: four more such Yorkshire lorries: £8 and £11 and £11 and £21;

Lot No.127: Builder’s tip cart;

Lots Nos. 128 to 130: three more such Buider’s tip carts;

Lot No. 131: Four wheel London van with tilt;

Lots Nos. 132, 133 and 134: three more such London vans;

Lot No. 135: Heavy Stone Truck;

Lot No. 136: Ditto;

Lot No. 137: Heavy timber carriage;

Lot No. 138: Ditto;

Lot No. 139: Three ton (Carrimore) trailer with steel wheels, floating bushes, and rubber tyres (nearly new);

Comment from PBA: perhaps the most interesting thing in this list is the timber shed at the LM&S yard. This fits in with the fact that Archer Cowley & Co had a good and serious working relationship with the railways;
