Radcliffe Square Oxford, 1934:

This shot appears also not to be properly in focus and I must check the original to see whether it is sharp or not and replace it if necessary. Anyway, here we see an AC & Co van backed up to the Radcliffe Camera in Radcliffe Square, Oxford, 1934, just north of St Mary’s church, gently simmering in the sunshine while two Oxford denizens discuss matters of (perhaps) no particular importance, or perhaps the removal itself, or perhaps the goings-on in Germany that were going to turn the world upside-down in 5 years time.
